Klávesnice BSV KB-03
Keyboard for point switching serves pro submitting destination code, line and vehicle evidence number. It is connected to transmitting unit for point switching (BSV-TR10 or BSV-TR12 or others) over RS 485. It allows both automatic switching and manual service. This system requires “intelligent” control units, such as BSV-PU03 or BSV-PU04.
How automatic switching using this keyboard works:
A driver on the terminus submit the route he is plying and his destination. This line and destination is transmitted during ride and is received by the switch. Here is all “intelligence” focused. According to this information and its internal table the switch controlling unit (BSV-PU) switches the point. On the other terminus the driver just submit “ride backwards”. When using systems with bi-directional communication, this is not necessary (vehicle receives the signal that it is at the terminus) and the driver does not have to input anything after the first input and everything is changed automatically.
By pressing key SHIFT you can edit the destination After that on the display appears blinking previous destination. Then you can overwrite the destination or confirm it by pressing ENTER. With keys 0-9 user can submit new destination code.
Manual switching:
The keyboard has arrows on the 2, 4, 6 and 8 keys. If the driver during ride presses this keys, the system will transmit code of this direction for preset period of time (for example 1 minute). After this time it returns to automatic switching.
This is shown on the figure below. Driver is coming to the terminus and must select, on what rail is he going to go. Then he presses a relevant button and on the display this direction appears. After this the code is transmitted, so the driver does not have to care of the location of the receiving coil.
