8 x 100 Mbit Ethernet switch with PoE, M12 - ECU-08LM.7Tx-12/24

This is an 8-port Ethernet bus unit – a version with extended features including 7 × PoE outputs with negotiation according to IEEE 802.3at (PoE+). These PoE outputs are primarily intended for powering cameras, where the camera stream (video data stream) is stored in an external device in the vehicle – EPIS 4.1x, EPIS 5.1x or in a tachograph or elsewhere.

One port is connected to an M12 X-coded connector, but with a speed of 100 Mb/s – this is a deliberate design to simplify installation and ensure compatible connection to existing M12 D-coded (100 Mb/s) Ethernet switches in the vehicle.

Thanks to the possibility of powering individual ports, there is no need to run additional power cables to connected peripherals, as everything is routed in a single UTP cable (data + power). The ECU unit is designed for use in rail vehicles and has a supply voltage of 16.8–32 V DC.
