Warning light device (WLD)
The warning light system (WLS) is a modern safety system designed to automatically turn on warning lights on platforms and crossings in urban transport. The system is designed for maximum reliability, safety, and easy integration into existing infrastructure.

The VSZ-01x "Warning Light Device" distribution box is designed to control lighting circuits at public transport stops, in particular lighting for pedestrian crossings or lighting for platform edges using ground lights. It is controlled by a communication protocol from the RSU (roadside unit), which senses the status of public transport vehicles using a set of V2X protocols. At the same time, it transmits the system status to the switch management monitoring server. The following figure shows the principle of connecting switch cabinets in a warning light control system controlled by V2X communication.
The switchboard cabinets are manufactured in two versions
- VSZ-01M – control unit (master), which contains a power supply and communication interface for the RSU unit
- VSZ-01S - a unit without this interface that only receives commands via the RS485 bus
Main features:
- Distribution cabinet suitable for installation on a (traction) pole
- Controls 4 power outputs to 24V/3A stop light circuits
- Automatic control of warning lights based on data from surrounding traffic (V2X communication)
- Powers the V2X communication control unit - RSU (M cabinet)
- Backup power supply for at least one hour of operation in the event of a traction power failure
- Surge protection, disconnect switch and powerful power supply unit meeting the required voltage ranges
- Control via isolated RS-485 bus and remote management option
- Advanced BMS module for efficient battery management and power optimisation
- All electronics secured in accordance with applicable standards
